I'm hopeful for change here in #Kamloops. I'm sure the city is trying, but it has been gradually getting worse in our area over the last year. Some refuse housing as they don't want rules. They are allowed to create street disorder without consequence which impacts everyone around them.

I wonder if we get less PET scans because our Drs don't refer as often as they are less accessible to people here, or if we truly don't need them. The province should, at least, wire for a PET scanner and reserve a space for one. 🙄

Remember when Danielle Smith condemned the "arrogance" of a government for passing laws in a matter of days?

Now she's rammed through a law stripping teachers' charter rights in a single day.

Seems the "democratic process" no longer matters to her now that she's in power.

Definitely worth a read for those of us in #Kamloops who may not have been paying attention. It is interesting to see how the rest of the province interprets our melodrama.
So! Hamer-Jackson texted me after this story. "Great work in your story looks like you spent some time."

Said we had missed some stuff "but that is normal with so much going on."

Other readers (pro, con agnostic on RHJ) didn't feel like it was sympathetic to him.

Trump wants to be dictator and is now threatening to jail other leaders who do not fall in line. It makes me sick that our PM was in DC yesterday kissing his ring and grovelling for a trade deal. We need to have some standards. We should be sanctioning the US, not partnering with them.
