An attempt was made in ‘17 but editorial fumbled the bag with the great Hannah Blumenreich and the project fizzled. Genuinely shocked they haven’t tried again, especially now with their Graphix YA imprint at Penguin

As a long time fan of New Gods, I’m surprised more people haven’t connected Mantis to the Bugs, the lower classes of New Genesis. This could really elevate Mantis as a character in the plot moving forward. And speaking of plot movements, what is Metron scheming…
