America needs a universal basic income U.B.I. to help both workers and non-workers. You know, "all the people". the U.S. almost implemented a UBI-like program in 1969 called the "Family Assistance Program". FYI, a family can be one person, or one person and a cat, too.

Specific leaders are important, not only the general party. Carney is already much better than Trudeau after, like, five minutes in *legal* power. The Canadian people can see that truth and are open to it, even if some do not. The Liberals under Trudeau were like a Ferrari with a teen driver.

Just a note to U.S. Democrat Chuck Schumer: Up here in Canada, our government was legally shut down some time back, but is nevertheless kicking more ass and getting more things done than ever. It is therefore a false assumption that government being open is always the best thing.
