Love the aesthetics, and the sounds are super crunchy! I appreciate how the position of the sound source relates to the panorama. I feel that many games with a similar camera perspective tend to be very shy about their width.

Lastly, I would love to hear the main character breathe and make sounds when climbing. Maybe some cloth sounds while moving, and gun handling sounds since they're holding one.

You can watch some of Mirror's Edge Gameplay to get a feeling for what I am outlining:

Then I would have a look at the different surfaces. At 00:25, you run over some metal framework, which should sound different from the tiles you're mostly on.

Next, think of the surroundings: many hard and flat walls mean a lot of reflections. So you need some slapback delays or reverbs.

Looks good! I like the sounds you already have in the game, but here are some ideas:

I would love to have some spot ambiance, for example, if you're near the vents, I would love to hear some air conditioning. If you're under a roof, filter the rain ambiance.

The Lightlance looks cool, but I love the dash and especially how smoothly you can turn and maneuver your spaceship. I'm not a big fan of games where you feel super floaty, but this one looks like you can dogfight with the enemy.

I overlooked that reposting a comment makes it look like a post. The video and the original sound are by @invidious.bsky.social

Does this look and sound sufficiently dangerous?

You could amp up the sound by using a combination of modulation effects. I quickly slapped a short delay with a lot of feedback, ring modulation, and a tremolo all in parallel to the original sound onto this. It sounds sharper, unstable, and more dangerous. Would love to hear you try it!

That sounds great. I love that the final sound effect with the halo gives this feeling of resolve! I am excited to see who made these 😊

I am super excited for this, love how juicy and snappy all of the animations and visuals are!
