GGGF and GGGM were born and married in Hungary, moved to the US and had my great grandma around 1914. He didn't naturalize until 1924

Yeah, I'm trying to understand the exact requirements for ius sanguinis but it might be tough. My GGGF was a minor official in the Austria-Hungary Empire. I am interested in learning the language regardless.

Possible countries I could qualify in:
Russia (Easiest to prove as my mother immigrated from there, but yikes)
Israel (equally easy but would have to move there and do military service, also yikes)
Hungary (or possibly Romania? The town is in Romania now)
Germany (or possibly Poland? Same reason)

The email itself is migrated over to Zoho and will keep working, but there are umpteen Google services and Android apps that might break for me

I eventually gave up and went back to the room with my half cold sandwich. Only to realize the room at least has a microwave
