After 3 days of leasing this thing, I tell ya hwat.
If future performance is like the last 3 days, then at the end of 2 years I'll renew the lease for another 2, and then at the end of that I'll buy it, and then I'll drive it until it falls apart.

This option for my EVSE was expensive ($125 for a software update??) but will provide serious peace of mind. The charger will supply less power to my EV if the total load on my house gets too close to the 100A limit. I.E. if the A/C is on and the car is charging, water heater kicks in + microwave
