Y’all. I called my reps about tariffs. Yes, even Ted Cruz. If I can, anyone can.

I’m not sure Bluesky is prepared for the unhinged 2025 running content from me. Y’all. I signed up for Dopey 2026. #rundisney

The annoying thing about these tariffs is that my Senators and Representative probably KNOW exactly how much they will hurt my fellow Texans. And they simply do not care.

I have big plans for my garden this year. These tiny tomato plants are just the beginning!

I don’t live in Southlake, but I live close enough to know that it isn’t the only DFW suburb that started or continues to operate like this.
New followers: As we wait to see who Trump picks to lead (and/or dismantle) the federal Education Department, let me tell you about the book I wrote.

It investigates the origins of the “anti-woke,” “anti-CRT,” anti-trans movement that Trump tried to tap into.

Here's what I found 🧵

“… and this will cause widespread food shortages (think coffee, cacao beans, many fruits and veggies, especially off-season and tropical). The Trump transition team member said: “maybe Americans shouldn’t eat those foods.”

I love this journey for Jerry. I often explain to local Cowboys fans that I have cursed the Cowboys to not win a game until they pay the Cheerleaders a fair wage. That division is a cash cow and those ladies get paid like high school workers at Chick-Fil-A. They're professionals. Pay them.
Wrote about arguably my favorite topic in all of sports: Jerry Jones spending $1.2 billion on a stadium built at the exact orientation so the sun shines directly into players eyes during the months when the Cowboys play football:

Late last night, right before collapsing into bed, I completed my four-generation accreditation project. Going to let it sit over the weekend, review the rubric and self-eval on Monday before hopefully submitting. #nervous #genealogy

After a full year of research and writing (and procrastinating) I have finally printed my four-generation report for editing. Goal to submit next month!

It’s been a long day. Ended on a sour note when we discovered that lots of airline miles were stolen from a hacked account. The next few days will be about getting them back. Which means lots of phone calls (something this Gen X introvert HATES). Why can’t everything be handled through text?!?

Oh my gosh I finally made it.
