The logical thing to do would be for the U.S. to follow the Canadian model - the software patches to round off cash purchases exist for most POS & accounting systems, the bank procedures exist and were fairly straightforward. 🤷🏼♀️

Yup. “Dickinson pumpkin” (in the cans) is C. moschata. So is butternut. The pumpkins we buy for carving are C. pepo. There is no true definition of pumpkin, which is why it spans 3 species (the giant prizewinners are C. maxima).

A small difference in price would be fine, IMO. That’s already the case for many state park camping fees, for example, or for fishing/hunting licenses. After all, I’m not paying the income taxes that residents do.
But not so much that it’s prohibitive.

Duralex Picardie brings back so much nostalgia for restaurants I used to go to with friends, places I worked. They are iconic - durable and always look great.
