Archaeologist. I like my dog.
It's Monday. Back to zero miles. Some soreness from going harder this week. Does not feel like I cut 20% of the miles w "only" 65.

November done. 355 miles running. Last week lightest, 65 due to taper racing a half. New PR for half: 1:34:42 (7:13).
New monthly high. Weather mostly cooperated.

It's Monday. Back to 0 miles.
Completely gassed yesterday. First failed workout in a while. No rest+heat (80!); time to start fresh.

I keep listening to "Through This Fire Across From Peter Balkan." It works so well, and I only appreciate it more and more on each listen. At first I thought the production was too much, but it really works. I feels like a real evolution built out from the duo shows? That being said, the drums kill

Had a great time yesterday morning sitting outside watching birds at the feeder. Chickadees, titmice, wren, woodpecker, and cardinals in nonstop traffic.

Monday we reset to zero. New week and starting fresh. Yesterday was probably the most challenging workout I've done as an adult!

New weekly steps record for me. 183k, or 25k+ per day.
I eat so much garbage.

I spent the morning running and the afternoon seeing a great author talk and playing records and reading. "Let Me Bathe in Demonic Light" on the new live album just had me stop and may have ended my day.

Why don't we get download codes with LPs anymore? I'm just going to have to buy a digital copy anyway.

I listen to books and podcasts when I run. I got into Donald Westlake through reading Parker (first from the Cooke graphic versions?), but the Dortmunder books are just great audio for running. Great tone and level of detail.

Very much enjoying The Lowdown.
Oklahoma is such a rich background and the writing/direction are really interesting for me.

I'm listening to audiobooks about 10-12 hours a week while running. Libby is so great. Hoopla's a droid app is a mess for me
