Yeah, once we started it, it was like, "OK, let's get this done as fast as possible." It was a relief to see that it didn't end on a cliffhanger.

Honestly, Taxi Driver and Goodfellas sort of swap back and forth. Goodfellas was a foundational movie for me, but Taxi Driver is probably the better film.

I am only watching it week to week because I'm worried I'll accidentally read about plot developments on here.

Some options include Kelly Callahan (interminable drama/thriller about the first female officer from a family of Boston cops) and Dick Flumpf (hideous sex comedy that would have seemed dated in 1999).

Hollywood should have a designated director for all those movies. "From the maker of Larry Crowne and Albert Nobbs..."

In terms of the “slowness,” I think a lot of people remember the BIG MOMENTS from his earlier shows (Breaking Bad especially) without remembering the work it took to make those moments count.

“Hair of the Dog” is apparently the reason my high school got rid of the jukebox in its cafeteria back in the 70s.
