Baptist minister. Wife and mum to gorgeous chaos monsters. Amateur stitcher. Trying to be a good ally. She/her.
We loved seeing your illustrations today. The kids had great fun with the trail and were delighted to buy some stickers to bring home.

Twelve years married to this wonderful man, seen here in his natural environment.

Inspired by @silverpebble2.bsky.social, some finds from Runswick Bay this week.

Three hours into our holiday and we've already paddled in the sea, relaxed in the hot tub and eaten the best fish and chips I've had in years. I think we've made a good start.

As a special treat, we've got the kids up to see the full moon through our new telescope. They're going to be exhausted in the morning, but it was worth it.

She's fantastic five!

She's always beautiful but sometimes she likes to be extra fancy.

She's wild and wonderful and we love her very much.

He's nifty nine!

Apparently this was the best birthday he's had in nine years.

Words cannot do justice to the wonder of this kind and curious and creative kid.

I love being his mum.

Nine years ago I was ten hours into labour. I have lots of feelings but few words, so here is a picture of that baby half way up a hill yesterday.

Really enjoyed our family day out to Nottingham yesterday, in spite of the rain. The kids were excited to go on a tram for the first time and see where their dad studied, and we all loved Luminarium at Lakeside Arts.

It's show week for my two young dancers and I am so proud of them. Miri has taken on a second class this year, and Eddie continues unfazed by being the only boy in the school.

The blossoms and daffodils were Mothers' Day and Easter gifts from the kids, and I picked the sunflowers up in a charity shop a little while back. I think arranging them took as long as making them! They've now joined our Easter hearth, along with some art from Good Friday.

Christ may be risen, but having celebrated since dawn, I'm collapsed in the hammock!

Wishing you your own Easter joy.

A symbolically significant thirteen people gathered at Stoneygate Baptist Church for our first Maundy Thursday Tenebrae service.

The light grows dim. The darkness deepens. But still one candle remains. For the light shines in the darknes and the darkness will not overcome it.

Miri found a flag in town today. Having a lifetime of hanging out with affirming Christians at Pride marches, to her this flag means God loves everyone, so of course she wanted one. She wants to be in the parade this year, so she took her new flag on a practice run. It seemed a good day for it.

Gender is not binary. Today's ruling is not rooted in science or commonsense. It is a needless attack based on ignorance and fearmongering, and it will further endanger and oppress an already marginalised group. This erosion of trans rights must stop.

Pic from Leeds Pride 2018.
Message eternal.

It was a joy to be handed this posy, made at church by my son, while talking to a couple about setting their wedding date. #churchlife #mumlife

Spring is springing! My heart needs the simple beauty of these flowers this morning. I hope they give your heart a little moment of ease too.

Spotted on the way back from a jewellery making course, where I made these lovely pieces.

Double rainbow!

It's been a gentle start to the year here. The kids decided it was a party day, which has largely meant baking, a bit of dancing around the living room, and watching Elemental in a heap on the sofa. The Greenwoods party hard!

On the third day of Christmas, we finished our plasticine nativity. Shepherd and sheep by Miri, magi by Eddie, holy family and angel by me.

Brilliant day at Belton House. The light trail was magical and the company wasn't bad either.
