"So that day hit. 883 people were infected because we were driving prediction with Palantir." Though Tyson had the technology to forecast infections, the company didn't use this data to heighten protections among workers in advance of projected outbreaks at its meatpacking plants, at least none that were made public. Instead, this software was largely used to protect Tyson, ensuring that infections among workers didn't disrupt the company's intricate supply chain. By forecasting worker infections, Tyson could plan in advance for irregular inventories from plant closures and labor shortages, as Spradley explained: "This plant's going to go down, so we need to start shifting product to this place."

But how many families, when an introvert sibling or child makes an effort to socialize, snarkily say, "So, you've decided to join us"? Or any [italicized] sentence containing the word "finally". If someone makes a step, a small step, in a direction you want to encourage, encourage [italicized] it. Don't complain about how it's not enough. Don't bring up previous stuff. Encourage it. At least on desktop, Gmail has created a new category, "All Mail", that you have to click "More" to view (the pics are before and after clicking "More"; I added the red highlight)

Check "All Mail" in addition to Spam, because All Mail is what Inbox used to be

The Hollow Ones did not need sleep, food, or wages. They were tested secretly, lest the living public be disturbed by the sight or implications of an animated corpse. When they were finally discovered, they were too essential to remove. Study of the Hollow Ones was outlawed for the good of collective societal sanity. This did not stop the spread of stories. I heard they can still read, I heard they can still write. I wonder what else they can still do. I wonder if they remember who they were; I wonder if they know what they have become.

Dauntless The Dauntless kissed their kin, pointed their ship towards stars and possibility, and dreamed. Their kin remained rooted – too fearful of becoming lost and forever sleeping in the void – but their hearts were moved. They swore to reunite. Generations built upon the first vessels, made sails that could catch the sun, speed with light. Finally, they followed voyage, only to find an empty worlds. They mourned the inspiring Dauntless, but built Possibility on New Earth. But dreams still fly, even if progress overtakes them. Peak Season Revival Marco is exhausted from his fourteen-hour shift at the plant, but he can no longer resist. He dry-swallows a Nutri-pod, then walks into the thin, forbidden expanse of nature that insulates this city from the next, and the next.
