Seems to me that the nazi salute (which it almost definitely was) is simply a tactic being used to distract the people from the other horrors currently ongoing.

The switch 2 looks like a grown up version of the switch… but who wants that? The switch is fun and whimsical.
This isn’t dissimilar to what happened to McDonalds, where fun branches were replaced with the rather bland and boring buildings we now see.

Honestly kinda funny that in the aftermath of their Shadow of the Colossus and Demon’s Souls remakes, everyone assumed Bluepoint was working for Sony on a Metal Gear remake or something Bloodborne only for them to actually be working on a God of War live service game only revealed as it’s cancelled

I feel like lumping Helldivers 2 and its success into all of the larger discussion around PlayStation's live service dreams never makes much sense. Helldivers 2 is a sequel to Helldivers. They grew it in sensible, modern ways. They didn't set out to make a 10-year game full of microtransactions.

I must say I am glad that Sonys push to make everything in the gaming space live service failed.
I do feel for those developers who have wasted time and resources on the cancelled games, and who now likely, face very poor job security.

The switch 2 looks to be pretty cool, especially with backwards compatibility… I just hope it runs games slightly better than my phone, unlike it’s predecessor 🤔
