Medicaid is the largest payer of reproductive healthcare services, covering 59% of births for Latina mothers. Republicans' cuts to Medicaid endanger the health & well-being of underserved communities and jeopardize maternal & reproductive care for Latina moms.

One report estimates that, in areas near data centers, wholesale electricity costs have risen by more than 200 per cent in the past five years. Rates will probably continue to increase to meet demand.

Turns out calling in snipers to target your students will haunt you.
Why did Indiana University attack and cut its own student newspaper?

Well, in a twist of irony any English professor would call clichéd, it turns out IU did it because they were angry about the students' reporting on a FIRE report naming IU as the worst public university for free speech in the US.

A decline in remote work flexibility over the last year is widening the gender pay gap and dragging down the labor force participation rate of college-educated mothers.

Employers who can offer at least hybrid work arrangements can attract some great talent.

Why they hate women: “Divorce rates in heterosexual couples rise significantly when a woman is more professionally successful than the man… studies also show that the marriages most likely to endure are those that most closely fit the traditional pattern of male breadwinner and female homemaker.”

Top hedge-fund recruits are getting hounded with job offers that would pay them like Hollywood stars or pro athletes. So why don’t they also have agents representing them?
