“China is just catching up” may have sounded plausible in 2000.

That’s obviously not the case now. nitter.net/JessePeltan/...

15-20 events per season, not year.

Yes, more accurate. The second season is new. The estimate is 15-20 events per year. Most are 6-9pm, so I end up with a full battery by morning. During an event I go from 40A@240v to 6A@240v until the event is over. The welcome bonus is a nice perk.

Lots of potential, I agree. The AB government interest seems to be in gas generation to benefit gas producers at the expense of rate payers unfortunately.

In our market vertical ground source starts at about 300-400% of the price of air source. Mostly we see it on top of market / high end single family detached builds. COP matters in that lower COP delivers higher operating cost. Capacity is another metric to consider.

I mean the cold climate models can obviously work at colder temperatures. I wonder if that's needed in Vancouver. I've lived in a 1908 home for 5 years with a cold climate heat pump, no backup. Coldest temperature here in the last 60 years was one day at -16C. I may try a standard model next time

Now that you can do multiplex, why are you going through this extra cost?

I mean one of the goals with the r1 zoning is family sized units. Removing the unit count cap would result in smaller units. The unit cap also helps to manage sewer volume.

I like it, but Montreal made a modification so EVs were not charged just because they have heavy batteries. They gave an additional allowance for electric.

Children are chaos. Wonderful wonderful chaos as the experiment with the world around them.

Hat is a wonderful trip. We road tripped it last year to see how good the electric highway was (it was fantastic). Both the museum and the nearby town exceeded expectations. Enjoy!

Vail resorts provided it. They are a large multi national resort operator.
So like the free parking, Vail shareholders pay for it. They are doing well though.
