I don’t want to hear another word from Farage about foreign interference. Hypocrisy you can see from space and I haven’t heard a single broadcaster call him out for it.

Nye Bevan, founder of our NHS was born today, 127 years ago.

A LOT has changed since 1948, but we're still here fighting for a fully public and properly funded NHS, and we always will be.

Are you with us? Repost if you are 💙

I’m not going to leave X just yet - I hate that sense of being driven away from a place I used to love. But after one day on here, I already know how much prefer it.

So if you see this and would be kind enough to share it to let people find me, that would be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

I’m not a fan of Van Gogh’s paintings (ssh!), but this novel -centring on one period of his life - is a really good read.

All I’ve managed is a road trip through eleven of the southern states. William Least Heat-Moon travelled across America in a boat!! This is his riveting account of the journey from the Atlantic to the Pacific. In a boat!

Well, this is new. I’m going to try and upload regularly a picture of something, probably a book (or a cat or my tortoise).
Today it’s a book, a novel based on the life of Ada Lovelace, the mother of computing. Brilliant.
