Disabled Albertans are no strangers to harm caused by shortsighted, incompetent UCP policy.

However, the cruelty in this case is jarring.

Total gov savings of $420k will harm hundreds of people with intellectual disabilities from Lethbridge, Calgary, Edmonton.

What does speaking out of both sides of your face mean? An example is guaranteeing no delisting of covered medical services while you are campaigning and then proceeding to delist a covered medical service. Just another day in Alberta.

Reading @swordsjew.bsky.social Wild Faith, but it is taking me forever as I go down rabbit trails of things I didn’t know much about (red heifer’s ???). It’s giving me perspective on why things currently seem so bizarre and the monumental effort it will take to reverse course. 👍📚💙 #booksky

The Quiet Damage (QAnon and the Destruction of the American Family) by Jesselyn Cook, is a riveting, and devastating, book about how people can get caught up in conspiracy theories and the resulting impact on the people who love them. Enlightening read for these times. 👍💙📚 #booksky

I don’t benefit from the dental program or $10/day daycare

I don’t need the Canada Child Benefit & I already have coverage for diabetes medicine should I need it

I vote in favour of these things because it’s not just about me

Tony Campolo’s writings offered a hopeful space for me when the religion of my youth was becoming unrecognizable.
“Putting religion and politics together is like mixing ice cream with horse manure. It doesn’t hurt the horse manure; it ruins the ice cream. I think this merger of church and state has done great harm to religion.”
