A beautiful day in North Cascades National Park. Diablo Lake did not disappoint.

I think there’s some concrete realization beginning to happen.

Another small break from the incessant craziness happening around us - while on my evening walk with our dog Jax we got to spend some time admiring this handsome fellow up in a tree right next to the trail. He was quite a bit bigger than he looks in the picture!

Wonderful hike at Dosewallips State Park this afternoon. The weather was nearly perfect if a bit chilly. Good to be out in nature for a while and not thinking about the craziness of the world. Picture is looking uphill at Phantom Creek while hiking along the Steam Donkey Loop.
