Love the Orioles but it's more enthusiasm than informed opinions
I saw the clip! Any competent D Leadership would try to ban Kaine from the Sunday shows because he says things that undermine any possible D accountability strategy.

Another instance of Kaine sucking! And it has the advantage of being true!

That's cool! I agree he might be below replacement level among Dem sens. I think that based on true things about him though.
December 20, 2025 at 1:24 AM
You said I don't care about ICE after I said tim Kaine sucked for confirming kristi noem. You imagined me to be a Tim Kaine sycophant based on absolutely nothing.

But you're right, I was rude to suggest you were a hater.

But to be clear... You DO hate him, right?
December 20, 2025 at 1:00 AM
You seem to think I'm a Tim Kaine apologist who will distort reality to make Tim Kaine look good.

Maybe you think that because you're a Tim Kaine hater who will distort reality to make him look bad?

I just saw you make what I thought was a sincere mistake and offered the truth.
December 20, 2025 at 12:53 AM
Kaine has had lots of bad votes! I'm happy to be mad at him for things he sucks at.
December 20, 2025 at 12:45 AM
They got what they wanted. They got everyone upset about Republicans ending the ACA subsidies.

You want Kaine to resign because he was part of the team that got Americans mad about Republicans being awful? Seems crazy to me.

What should he have done for the past year?
December 20, 2025 at 12:36 AM
Yeah. They want to run ads saying that republicans screwed up healthcare. There was never a real chance of actually restoring the subsidies. You're 100% correct.

That was true for the entire shutdown. It's still true! It would be a good strategy for Republicans to do it. They won't!
December 20, 2025 at 12:15 AM
That's what everyone was saying at the beginning of the shutdown - they should have probably done it over something else. The goal was to raise the salience of the ACA subsidies. On that, they were successful. Compare to when the child tax credit expansion expired in 2022. No one cared!
December 20, 2025 at 12:04 AM
Democrats disagreed on whether the cost of additional days of shutdown was worth the benefit. But I don't think any democrats really believed that the Republicans were on the verge of capitulating on aca subsidies. If someone said that I'd be interested in hearing about it.
December 19, 2025 at 11:30 PM
Crazy that you are excited to believe lies but I guess there's nothing I can do for you. Good luck!
December 19, 2025 at 11:14 PM
You and Tim Kaine do not disagree on the ACA subsidies. You disagree on whether the shutdown would result in the passage of the ACA subsidies. You disagree on if the chance of passage was worth the actual pain a continuation of the shutdown causes.

You shouldn't lie about people you disagree with.
December 19, 2025 at 10:35 PM
So how much longer would the shutdown have to go in to get the subsidies passed?
December 19, 2025 at 10:16 PM
So your theory here is that if the shutdown had gone on longer, the ACA extension would have passed.

How long would it have had to go?
December 19, 2025 at 10:11 PM
You seem to have made something up to get mad about. Tim Kaine never voted to end the ACA subsidies. If you think he did please take some time to consider how you came to believe a false thing.
December 19, 2025 at 8:46 PM
I challenge you to find the vote which ended the ACA subsidies. It will be very difficult for you because it didn't happen.

The one big beautiful bill failed to extend the subsidies. There were no Democrats who voted for it.

There was never a bill to end the subsidies.
December 19, 2025 at 8:36 PM
No they didn't. You've been misinformed

You believe surveys over peoples lived experience?

Lived experience is so important we asked thousands of people about that experience! In a way that mathematically ensured a broad and diverse range of experiences! Asking about peoples' lived experience along dozens of different dimensions!

Tim Kaine and 50 other senators voted to restore the ACA subsidies eight days ago
