As a heads up, the latest windows update broke applications from being able to connect to `localhost`. It's not a problem for us except that the three most critical application used across the whole company will all stop working. #dotnet #windows

Hi, Since the last cumulative update of 2025-10 I can not access applications via localhost anymore. It looks like I am not the only one with this issue: https://serverfault.com/questions/1193405/http...

Every podcast that mentions AI goes down the same path of it being flawless and all code is being written by it. Clearly they are not talk to people who use it. It's interesting to see others with the same feedback.

Today I started off the day with googling "How do I write a method". Coming back to my beginnings.

The amount of coordination across all of EA on this title is insane. It's exciting to see it all come together.

They always says naming things is one of the hardest parts of programming. Sometimes you get it right and other times you end up with "water weird" dice set. #temu

I thought programmer UX design was bad, today I learned that project manager UX is even worse. Lets have 5 progress bars of various different thicknesses and might as well throw in some random flashing. :cry-sunglasses:

Reviews from my #GDC talk this year. I am super happy with the results from my first talk. I really wish the person who voted poor would have written feedback. I love knowing what I can improve on :)

Don't Get Burn by Perforce!

Did you know when you run Perforce commands from the cli, it will attempt to resolve all the global arguments for you? This is single-handedly the biggest source of bugs in any tooling around Perforce that I have worked on.

SunLife has the most garbage website in the world. In what world does a website have 'business hours'. They are trying their best to align to standards of website design standards from the early 2000s. I am just waiting or marquees to be used.

If you visited GDC last week, please complete your session evaluations. You will have gotten an email with the subject "GDC 2025 Session Evaluation Reminder"

You can leave feedback on what you liked and disliked, so I can adjust my roundtables to be even better in the future!

For developers out there, make sure instead of just complaining, harness that energy and file bug reports. Make sure you can create simple to reproduce cases. At the end of the day it will make things better for everyone. Just this week I have files 3. Two for Microsoft and one for Jet Brains.

Had an absolute blast this year at #gdc. It was always on my bucket list to speak at the conference. Hopefully I will get to speak more in the future as it's always great to share and maybe inspire.

It really annoying that the #dotnet community has no solution for working on #nuget packages like the NPM community has with npm link docs.npmjs.com/cli/v9/comma.... When developing NuGet packages it's just a tedious workflow. Setup a local repo, bump the version, upgrade reference, build, then test
