I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

I was laid off from Teen Vogue this week, alongside multiple other phenomenal team members.

At our Summit, I was asked how it felt to be 1 of 2 Black women left and what that meant for representation. Now, there are no Black women at Teen Vogue and that is incredibly painful to think about.

Houston police called ICE on a woman who called 911 to report domestic abuse by her ex-husband.

Since I was laid off from Vox a few weeks ago, I no longer cover public health for that outlet -- but I sure do stay in touch with my many sources at the CDC and in public health more broadly

From a journalist friend: Just spreading the word. The CDC is purging data, so people should archive their favorite CDC datasets today, namely ones around race/ethnic diversity, LGBTQ, and reproductive health. Also health data involving climate. The youth risk behavior survey has already gone down.
