Special National Women’s Month Post, let’s show love to the God Mother of the Women’s Civil Rights movement, Dorothy Height. Dorothy was the first person to shed light on black women’s illiteracy, unemployment and voter awareness. Her efforts are time tended to get overlooked because of her gender.

Civil rights were won through protests and lawsuits and literally fighting back. We are not in unprecedented times. We are in a horrible reboot of Reconstruction. Fight in every way possible. Flood those anti DEI tiplines with misinformation, spend 10 minutes every day telling your reps to stop this

I don’t really know much about Jimmy Carter’s politics but I do know that he thought Palestinians were actual people who deserved equal rights and justice and that is kinda rare among Democratic electeds
