This is one of the biggest reasons I encourage people to go to therapy, because people don’t understand all the ways they been conditioned either.
People live their whole lives based on what other people/entities have told them, not what actually works for who they are and what they need.

It's really hard to undo conditioning. Especially when you don't believe you've been conditioned.
