Keiese—a highly specialized dialect of Japanese, of course—was built on sarcasm, weaponized saltiness, and layers of double-speak so slippery it occasionally veered into full-blown gaslighting. And Tetsurou knew immediately what Kei was actually saying. "I don’t like that movie you chose", meant: "I want you to take me to your apartment and fuck the shit out of me until I’m pumped full of your come and I cannot move and then you must hand feed me cake." Tsukishima learns how to ride dick.

His hair is darker in person, but still a rich golden blonde. His eyes are hidden by half-frame glasses, just as golden as his hair. Gold like the warm sunset on your skin, gold like the fire burning the marshmallows that radiated off of his skin. He meets Kuroo's eyes from across the room, locking in. Everything melts away. The ache for a drink, the tittering voices of everyone else in the room. Kuroo feels like time freezes as they hold each other's gaze. Until everything comes rushing back in, all at once, making Kuroo nauseous. Tsukishima is moved, firmly but gently, to the side by his husband. Ushijima Wakatoshi crushes Kuroo's temporary solace. Language: English Words: 2,753 Chapters: 1/? Further inspection revealed the magazine, the first one to run an article about how awful his play was. He flipped past the first section, 10 pages devoted to the anniversary of former model Tsukishima Kei and nepo baby CEO Ushijima Wakatoshi to find his article. It's short, only one page. They had started nice at least, highlighting the major successes Kuroo's had, but that paired with the happiness of the beautiful couple on the pages before, only make the review of the current play look that much harsher. He tosses it to the table with a groan, raising his arm up to cover his eyes. He hears the familiar clink of a bottle, prying his eyes open to see a second whiskey bottle, barely touched. He forgot he broke this out last night. Another sip, this one much longer than the first, and he relaxes to watch the sun set. This was a good start to the evening.
