During the worst, darkest, and most hopeless moments of my life, I’ve always thought to myself: someone should do something.

The answer has always turned out to be me.

I am surprised NHPR is not yet on @bsky.app. Or did I miss it somewhere?

“Don’t feed the trolls” also extends to bad opinion pieces in papers of record.

They run them bc people react to them the most.

If we stop linking to bad columns and instead post thinkers we find valuable (& generate convo around it), incentives change.

It’s not easy and takes constant practice!

Funny how every time I asked NH GOP what services they were going to cut to pay for their tax cuts, they went mute. They knew all along they were going to dump this mess on local property taxpayers. ENOUGH. #NHPolitics
NH property tax bills have gone out as has the sharp realization of the financial mismanagement by NH GOP. Know this, NH Senate Dems are already working to ease this hit. NH cannot afford to keep shirking its responsibilities to taxpayers, giving away $ub$idie$ to the wealthy. #NHPolitics

Geesh. Talk about cheating!!
New Hampshire Republicans are contemplating mid-decade redistricting that would make #NH01, currently repped by Democrat Chris Pappas, redder. Outgoing GOP Gov. Chris Sununu blocked such a plan, but new Gov. Kelly Ayotte might be on board

Trump alone didn't beat the justice system.

He had help.

It took Oligarchs relentlessly amplifying his lies on their media platforms.

Ethically compromised members of the Supreme Court.

70+ million willing to vote for a convicted felon.

There's a lot to fix. But it can be fixed. It must.

Justice died this past July when the Supreme Court crowned Trump king. But even though we knew today would come, it still hurts. Let’s try to be a little kinder to one another.
