i think the big middle event between george floyd protests and covid that accelerated this hard right turn in elite circles was tech employees using slack to stage walk-outs and force concessions from management. tech bosses got a first whiff of organized labor's power and started reading mein kampf
Only in America could a white man with a current net worth of $2 billion see himself as part of a victimized group. 🤦‍♂️

Had a raging thunderstorm a few hours ago, this tree was felled by lightning I believe, it was a huge ass tree and it almost hit someone’s house.

Nature is fricking WILD.

The idea that the progressive left used the internet to bully institutions into accepting unpopular, far-left positions is the exact opposite of what has actually happened. The alt-right used the internet for ideological capture and they are now in the White House bragging about it daily

We made it to double digits. We'll be here until Issue 100 in June 2055. Hopefully by then the world has learned from our anti-fascist sc-fi dystopian stories. And by then we increase the release speed by getting enough funding to go quarterly instead of triannual.

the tesla protest might objectively be among the most successful in history already just in terms of immediate response, if you consider they forced the world’s most powerful person & its most wealthy to fully degrade themselves like used car salesmen on live TV while the whole world watched agog.
