I use DIY air cleaners in my classrooms and my home. They are SO much more effective than store bought HEPA air purifiers because they move a lot more air. Within 5 minutes of turning on the DIY air cleaner, PM2.5 is 75% lower than the starting number. Great for smoke, air pollution, viruses...
Air cleaning is simple. It's a filter and a fan. DIY air cleaners are an example. But products are designed to lock you into a proprietary system to generate ongoing profit from early replacement of overpriced filters, generating unnecessary waste....
