LFC. Vidya Games. Guy that does the live graphics on sports programmes. Disappointment to my parents.
And amazing to see Jockey looking in such good health after being so desperately poorly the last 12 months or so. Really broke me seeing him looking an absolute picture of health today. What a day.

Trying to moderate a form of injury substitution in Tests will always lead to gamesmanship or at the very least accusations of gamesmanship. It doesn’t need to be complicated and it doesn’t need a massive re-write of the rules to administer. Good luck to the scoring app programmers though! #engzim

But for Spurs, they face a new dawn where, from almost nowhere, they have been presented a pathway to untold riches which, with proper investment, could give them a legitimate shot at being back in the big time for the foreseeable future. Could have all been so different if the score was reversed.

Strange world where there’s no European football on the horizon, a squad in desperate need of both renewal and reconfiguration, a likely inability to attract top talent to get them out of the mess they’re in and a manager who looks at times out of his depth and at others, totally discombobulated.

Shout out to Celestine IV who was elected after a Conclave was held in a prison in Rome in some of the worst conditions you could ever imagine. You would assume the Cardinals would have wanted to get on with things given, you know, the rats, typhoid and starvation? Nope. Took them 2 months.

When I first heard about it, I assumed it was some mad Japanese visual novel because of the name and was going to avoid it. I’m so glad I didn’t because it’s absolutely fucking spectacular and you should all be so proud.

For what it’s worth I think me and the lads will pick a spot on the Allerton Rd near the start of the parade, then prob cut up to West Derby Road to try and see it again, then hopefully get a ticket to something class in town to finish the day. Might have to accept it’s a cans in a bag day!

I reckon all bets are off on the Monday, mate. I don’t live in LPL anymore but most places will do one of tickets and/or first come first served. Prob best to give them a bell and see what’s what. At a minimum it’s going to be a case of getting in early and bringing a power bank with you 😂

This is the corner of Mill Lane and West Derby Rd, where the Parade will turn left and head into town - I’ve marked two pubs here that’ll have brilliant viewing specs but you’ll have to either book or get there at opening time 😅

It’s gonna be absolute bedlam mate. In my 35+ years of supporting the Reds I’ve never known the levels of chat about congregating in LPL on a single day - not even for the CL wins. I’d be inclined to get somewhere early in the parade early and just sit there and drink it in.

I was thinking this before but it’s a strong bench and if you take the view that he’s behind Elliot then I don’t see how he gets on the bench when you have TAA as a surprise addition to it. I do feel mega sorry for him though. It does feel like game over for him - and for Robbo also imo
