I love the poster's promise/threat that the movie will leave you "STERILIZED with FEAR".

A sneak peak into something cosmically evil and Lovecraftian.
Peak Shiraishi, I love it.

'But it was no longer a wolf's paw. It was a hand, chopped off at the wrist, a hand toughened with work and freckled with old age. There was a wedding ring on the third finger and a wart on the index finger. By the wart, she knew it for her grandmother's hand.'

I've been doing theme months since March of 2013, that's about 140 of them (there were incidents that caused skips). I thought it would be fun to look back at them and the films I reviewed.

Ready? Here we go!

Was completely blown away by THE HOUSE WITH LAUGHING WINDOWS (1976), an absolutely vile and twisted giallo wrapped in the crumbling, rustic trapping of the folk horror genre. Really amazing if you can get your hands on a nice version.

Quick! Let's review the different colors of the silent era!

Hand-applied Color: Just what it says! A tiny brush applied color to evert single frame by hand. Most colorists were French women and very well-paid.
