If you want a tight, system-up front 2hr one-shot, we did Brindlewood Bay here:

All of us really liked it - it hits a "trindie" sweet spot, I think - although I *think* it was the quickstart we played. System is really smooth and lets you tackle problems in interesting ways, the conditions are meaningful, the powers are open to interpretation in cool ways - really good!

Having loads of great games (and they all sound great, looking forward to playing em..) to yearn for is a good thing, providing you're getting gaming done. We should reach for more... what a wealth of opportunity.

(I'm really interested in hearing more about how Roach God is going, too... although it will lead to more of the above)

So much this. After two online con games (thanks @thegrognardfiles.bsky.social for Grogeetish) I now need to run Marvel Heroic and DCC again.

I'd say the answer is more one-shots, but I run and play loads of them and it's still the same...

If you want to dm, we'll see if we can get it in on UGMs - it'll have to suit our modus operandi

How suitable is it for a 2 hour one-shot? Let's see...

You should read it - it's really good!

For 1. I don't just mean at conventions. I actually reckon lack of GMs is a limiting factor in the hobby more widely (and some of the toxic expectations of it from GM-as-auteur stuff). We need more GMs, not fewer!

1. I think there's probably actually not enough refs for demand - most cons could offer more games with more refs
2. Are you saying refs shouldn't play too?

Let's collab, as the kids say

(And I'm fully aware I might just need to do this myself instead)

Are you a marginalised creator? And I'm sure theres loads, but you could start with the low level adventures in Radiant Citadel - all fron diverse creators. The 1st level one, Salted Legacy, is brilliant

Does the family have to be heteronormative? Are the goblins falling into racist tropes (did you say they were planning on eating the farmers... eek)? Are your NPCs diverse? Is there another adventure by a marginalised creator that could be championed by you as well / instead? A few ideas there
