Day one of #OBaWS in the bag - played Runequest with @dracowie.bsky.social at the helm, and ran @evilhat.bsky.social Deathmatch Island is its backstabby, betrayal-laden one-shot format. Excellent fun and hat tip to @matthewbroome.bsky.social for making it all happen!

Fantastic second session of @storybrewersroleplaying.com with @omnihedron.co.uk this morning - our mixed doubles brother and sister team lost in the semis, but reached some sort of bond as a family.
This is a fantastic game, with amazing techniques that just drive story. Sports with feelings ftw!

The vibes in Age of Vikings, relatively newly out from @chaosium.bsky.social , are immaculate. Rich in detail about 10C Iceland, but packed with adventure seeds and ideas - and great, consistent, evocative art (1/3)

A very pretty #TTRPG thing in my mailbox this afternoon. @bastionland.bsky.social 's Mythic Bastionland does some very clever things with emergent play and procedural generation.
(OK, it obviously wasn't in my mailbox, I live in the UK. I do know what on is because of Bart Simpson's paper round)

Doing some one-shot #TTRPG prep - always worth thinking of rough timings for sections so you can keep it moving. Bonus points if you can identify the (classic) adventure module I'm adapting!

This, from @chaosium.bsky.social, is bloody good. Some of their choices with RQ canon (as in, defining all of it) hasn't been for me in the past, but this is a proper adventure-focussed supplement! Huzzah! (Also, finally stats for e.g. generic Lunar soldiers)

Great to get in a final game to round off 2024 with - @epidiah.bsky.social 's Swords Without Master, in a one-shot session. The Sorcerer-Kings coronation was prevented by our Rogues' escape, helped by their army of urchins and liberal application of contact poison - great Sword and Sorcery time!
