my attempt at a stoat. words can not even begin to describe that the fact this came out even halfway decent was because i was able to catch myself in the middle of making mistakes and fixing them as i went.
i was going to draw more today, but this burned me out.

apparently it’s easier to draw winding roads if you look at an actual map. who knew?
i decided to redraw this image from scratch and am much happier with the results, from the composition to the roads still feeling winding and organic, but more organized.
