Today I did some research about a building in my hometown for historic markers the City wants to put up. Still need to find the name of an architect but found everything else about that plot since the 1850’s. Also found out the downtown used to be mostly covered by a hearse and casket factory. Wild

Today my family gathered to go through the old steamer trunk my great grandmother kept. I could not have hoped for a better collection! Certificates, diplomas, draft cards, war ration stamps, clothes, pictures going back 150 years. Glad to be with people who could attach stories to it!
