then the people you describe are as venal, lacking character and principles as any run of the mill Trump voter, just own the truth of the matter. The fear of Fateh is not based in any rational thought, especially if you think you have to betray principles to exorcise the fear.

I’ve found Minneapolis voters love to get absolution for their votes

That was a choice, voters are good with him as long as his cruelty, his lies, his cynicism, his police dont really touch them in any material way. They can ride. The only place it stings, they look themselves in the mirror - maybe I'm not the great liberal person I thought I was

I think Minneapolitans gravitate to this kind of analysis because it inoculates them from their cognitive dissonance, easy to blame the far left, but having Fateh as an option did not force anyone back in the arms of Frey.

This really doesnt answer on why those who were so tired of Frey did not choose DeWayne Davis, he was campaigning right there. How did the “far left” stop centrists from choosing Davis? This analysis from Roper makes no sense and doesnt get to the core of Minneapolis voters lies they tell themselves

Love what you all are doing! Keep up the truth and clarity. I am a big big fan!

Common sense would look at how that has gone with other public good we have placed entirely in private hands. - they don't want to discuss cuz they got politicians to elect and champion, paper champions

they certainly don't seem willing to talk about the ramifications of placing our entire affordable housing fortunes in the hands of private for profit industry and what that industry will continue to extract in exchange.

These folks are yimby as a politic, meaning they don't want to talk about more important measures in the real world like rent burdened households of poor working folks, they want to cheer statistics without deeper understanding of the underlying conditions and the conclusions

I can’t shame someone, shame is something you take on willingly, self aware enough to be struck by ur own behavior or choices. If a voter was compelled by what Davis offered then ranked Frey thereafter, they might be an idiot or just frivolous and shallow. Hope they correct that for their own sake

23% is significant
November 6, 2025 at 8:20 PM
And as they have lectured us, Frey is building all the best affordable housing for them to move into, building it with his own hands I hear, like Jimmy Carter

Davis told you that he worked with Frey in earnest, gave him a fair chance and was so repulsed by Frey’s lack of morals and ethics that he launched a campaign running against him - and yall choose that guy second against your leader of choice? What on earth?
