have to quit working on this prototype because roblox artificially limits the GUI frame rate. cool. i guess that explains why you never see giant skybox items on that platform

went ahed and ported my zero g movement system to the roblox prototype. i dont know if ill keep it, but its fun to mess around with

this is my most recent project, which i started working on july this year.
it uses steam sockets which i understand a lot better than RPC, but unfortunately phys desync is just a miserable little problem. i abandoned it because i realized thats an industry wide issue, so im unlikely to solve it

november 2023. this was my first time working with multiplayer, using Unity Mirror for local networking.
it worked but i dont have the best grasp of RPC so it ended up an unworkable tangled spaghetti mess. another useful learning experience though

movement game from some time in february 2023 i think.
stopped working on it because the bugs were piling up and i ran out of ideas. its a little fun but the movement is a long ways from fluid and it shows. great learning experience regardless though

anyway heres a thread of abandoned prototypes from 2023-2024. i might revist some of these in the future, but i had a pretty good reason for stopping development on each of them
