Just so we’re clear from the get go…I’m here so my politics should be evident. But I’m a stoic, so I only concern myself with what I can control and live the best life I can in the meantime.

Please recommend your favorite sci fi/fantasy book series. I travel a lot and Audible is an amazing companion…but I’ve been through just about everything Sanderson, all the @joeabercrombie.com First Law books, Wheel of Time, most Orson Scott Card series…what am I lacking?

I have five daughters and one granddaughter. Tonight I met my five month old grandson for the first time. I’ve never been much on gender roles, the women I raise are heroes, but it is pretty cool finally having some Y chromosomes hanging around.

I’m on vacation this week and plan to eat a stupid amount of unhealthy food on Thursday, but I’m still going to get up early all week and go to the gym because 50 hits hard.
