They use one of these tired old tactics outlined here. It’s all the same. It started with the regulation of cigarettes & now the fossil fools copy it.

Should be a crime to present false & misleading information, deliberately, in full knowledge it is false & intended to mislead.

I use honey Paul. Natural (like sugar) but nutritious (unlike sugar) & has antibacterial properties.

I'm using it at resent to control a chest infection.

If you really want to pursue it Paul, look into addictive personalities, or addictive gene -- people who succumb easily (like religion fan club members).

Alcohol addiction can appear down the family tree.

Then there are addictive tastes, like sugar, or substances like alcohol & nicotine.

I think it started with sugar, *it's nutritious & good for you* [it isn't].

Tobacco giants adopted same tactics. "I don't believe nicotine is addictive" -- repeated by all of them.

Then it was turn of GW leading to Climate Change.

Fair enough.

"No GST under my govt" [during first term anyway] -- John Howard.

*No cuts to this, that, the other*, on election eve -- Tony Abbott. Followed by a savage Budget.

Opposition to net zero & renewable energy is clearly all about continuing to mine & burn coal, oil & gas for corporate profits, regardless of any damage to people's health, the climate or the planet at large.

It's as plain as a nose on a face. There can be no doubt about it.

The Commissioner of Police says he was not made aware of Nazi rally or its nature.

Someone lower down the ladder snuck this one in.

There are now media that provide alternatives to Establishment 'facts'. We shd follow & promote them.

We hv websites, on-line papers & magazines, blogs, emails, messaging for passing info, forums, etc.

There's now more exposure of lies, wrongdoing. No wonder govts are aghast at social media.

Speaker Johnson has been stone-walling her swearing in.

This is what American democracy has come to.

It's not raining actually, the Sun is shining.

Big names must be protected, regardless, in case we should lose respect for them.

Little people not so much (not at all, relatively speaking).

Following Putin's advice he might resume testing, president Trumpty Dumpty (aka TACO Trump) has told the King's men to drag the nukes out, dust them off & kick the tyres (tires) to make sure they're still okay.

Enough nukes in storage to reduce Earth to cinders if nuke war ever kicks off.
