I strongly suspect several from the UK are among the most highly respected.

Much of the voting was also more by country than by group line. For instance, almost all of the MEPs from countries rejecting the Mercosur agreement (France, Poland, Hungary etc) voted for referral to the ECJ, and thus for at least delay.
