That hc is tied to employment kills me. America is NOT business friendly, it's corporation friendly. Innovation, entrepreneurialism, and employment market are stifled.

You don't think this is a natural (and foreseeable) consequence to CFP, portal, and NIL? Bowls were meant to be a week of fun in Orlando for mediocre teams. These guys can buy their own trips, still spend time with family. Individual players have been opting out for years.

Not a lot different than declining to play in a consolation, 3rd place game. Guys are pros now. Not playing for draft status or natty, so why risk injury in a game on Dec 27?
