Finished that background and added some animations.

The lighting/details are a bit flat and the tree is janky, but I didn’t want to spend too much time on it since this was more of an exercise.

I want to clean this up at some point tho.

Before and after of a redraw I did of an old 2023 Inktober sketch. The left shows the original sketch. It’s simple black and white line art depicting a spider-woman creature casting webs in various directions, looking down at her prey. She’s wearing a lacey top made out of webs. The right shows the fully rendered painting I did this year (2024). The 2024 version shows a fanged, black and white woman-spider monster casting webs above and below her. The creature is in a dark, web-covered cave, looking down as she holds her prey that’s entangled in webs she’s casting out of her outstretched hand.

The general vibe of my art is otherworldly or creepy, but I am trying to make more peaceful things like this frog.
An ethereal celestial being relaxes in a hot spring that’s made up of a solar system, with the glowing yellow/orange sun heating the spring. The body of cosmic water is decorated with stars and planets. Making for the perfect cosmic hot spring In the middle of the forest, a mysterious tree in a well produces glowing, pink mist that births these horrid creatures. Upon entering the dark green/blue forest, a cyborg stumbles across this phenomenon and is ambushes. His arm is ripped from him. He manages to escape, but he’s injured, scared, and alone. All he can do now is hide behind a bush as he plans his escape. A happy ecosystem! A cute bright green tree frog houses a pond of colorful koi fish in his throat. The blue pond produces a healthy amount of excess moisture to the frog, which provides the perfect conditions for the mushrooms to grow :)

I’m a digital artist who draws all kinds of things. I am trying to diversify it a bit bc most of my art is either moody or has really dark colors. I love dark, ethereal art, but I would like lighter,happier things thrown in there sometimes, like this lil frog :).

I’m also trying to animate.
Spider monster in a dark, misty cave has caught its prey, a young girl that took a wrong turn. Lulled to sleep, she is entrapped in the spider’s web. It’s a such a sweet, cute little green frog with a blue koi fish pond in his ribbit pouch (idk what it’s called lol). The pond provides just the right amount of moisture to support the mushrooms growing on his head. Nature is beautiful
