There are many, many reasons why doing away with anonymous online speech would be dangerous for free expression. One is that it would force people from authoritarian countries to choose between speaking out and protecting their families.

There are many, many reasons why doing away with anonymous online speech would be dangerous for free expression. One is that it would force people from authoritarian countries to choose between speaking out and protecting their families.
