/2 Also note that this key paragraph characterizes the agreement rather than quoting it, an odd choice in this context. Seems skeevy.

...grandfather was Goleta's blacksmith way way back! He had stories about all the remaining structures there, most of which are falling down now. His parents old house there is long gone: burned in a brush fire many decades ago (1958 maybe?). He lives in Oklahoma now.

It probably would be but it's private property so I did an aerial hike. Just cow pasture really. No residences. Though by putting this online I did meet (on FB) a man who lived there as a boy. Those photos I posted above contrasting green season with brown season are of a canyon near my house called Eagle Canyon. I did a 7 mile drone flight through that canyon and other nearby canyons once in April when the green was starting to fade. Sped up by about 4x. Enjoy: youtu.be/aL9CzjPjBnM?...

May and most of June the green loses its color and it's actually very yellow because of all the mustard and other yellow flowered plants. If we're lucky we get a bit of rain in November or even October, but typically August, September & October are maximally dry. December is muddy if we're lucky.

The seasons are very different here. February on the left and September on the right. We get 90+% our rain from December to April. By the end of June that right hand photo is how it looks until the rains start again. January through March are peak green.
