DOG & CAT HOSPITAL - 2412 Amsterdam Avenue near the corner of West 180th Street, Washington Heights c. 1940. Amazingly, this building remained an animal hospital until at least 2019; building razed 2021. Neighbor to right is H.J. Butler & Bro. Inc. Lumber, building still stands.
