I know most of my followers will be familiar with the story of Giovanni Falcone but for those who did not follow me in the other place and don't know it, I have transferred my thread from there over here. Warning, it is a very long thread (200+ posts) but worth the effort to read.

hit & injured a person (86/M) on a bicycle
crossing properly in a marked crosswalk.

It's common in Montgomery County MD to see drivers who don't even slow down for right turn on red, let alone actually stop. As though they were turning right on green.
An ever-shrinking number of drivers come to a “full and complete stop” at any red light (or stop sign) much less look around for anything that isn’t a vehicle. Part of what we need, sadly, is enforcement of those laws in addition to protected spaces.
