A little over a week away from getting my next PET scan to check on the state of my cancer. Was the last radiation effective? Thorough? Do I need more? Chemo? Another 6 month reprieve from treatments? Will my new health ins cover everything i might need? The anxiety is high!!

Fighting cancer for 6.5 years now. Recent radiation put me in hospital. They found i had a heart attack in the past and now have a weak heart with big blood clot. blood thinners and heart drugs. Cant walk, get dizzy, am weak no endurance. Now waves of diarrhea and hemorrhoid flare up. I hate my life

I'm going to get put on a feeding tube before the year is out. I'm already losing my will to continue fighting this cancer after almost 7 years, that might do me in.

Ok, after a rough few days I'm getting back on track with pretending none of this poor health is happening to me and that I can survive past Christmas. Made some jello with protein powder in it for my nutrition needs. Yummy cherry flavor. Yay.

Finally home from the hospital after 10 days. Only swallowing liquids right now with a little pain but can see soft foods at the end of the tunnel. Having a hard time staying hydrated though, ugh.

OMG, just learned my radiation therapy is going to be every day instead of every other like I had anticipated. I can barely get around and have no help. Simulation is today, treatments start Monday. Send positive vibes.

Aah, that time of year I would love to have the windows open at night for the cool air but can't because the pollen would choke me out. Ceiling fan is best I can do.

I'm back on chemo and this first week has already wrecked me. I have to get to a Dr appt in a couple hours and having trouble gathering the strength and energy to get in the shower. Ugh.

I was really hoping I was out of the woods, but after a year break I'm going back on chemo and will get some more radiation treatments on my esophagus... no radiation can be done on the liver apparently, that will be all chemo again. Ugh.

Playing Divinity 2, good game. Resisting the urge to look up help online for best upgrades, recipes, where to find some citrus! But it means my group does a lot of blind stumbling around and getting our asses kicked! Starting to save often

Spent valentine's day afternoon visiting with my ex wife. It was nice. I didn't bring her any flowers cause that'd be weird but I did bring her lemon squares and some hot chocolate that she likes for a snack. So not the worst valentine's day I've had.

Had a memory today of just how much cool whip I ate in the middle of the night as a kid. Cherries too. How quiet as a mouse I was sneaking down the stairs... and just how friggin loud mice are. There's no way I was actually getting away with it
