Great planning day today with team members from UQ’s Indigenous Engagement Division. We had a number of sessions, inc the team activity below which combined native plants, knowledges, science, maths, water, concentration, creativity & fun.

My life is busy, but I’m never too busy to enjoy what’s around me whether I’m walking down the street, travelling, or cooking breakfast on a Sunday. I look for beauty, & joy in simple pleasures. Life is too short to be so busy that I miss life itself!

I visited Auckland Art Gallery in the few hours before my flight home. There are a diverse range of exhibitions & works, including Brett Graham’s ‘Wastelands’, 2024 (www.aucklandartgallery.com/whats-on/exh...), which debuted at the 60th Venice Biennial. It’s a powerful & meaningful installation!

Now this geranium growing in a church garden along a street in Auckland CBD is different to others I’ve seen in Australia. It’s nice, interesting, & is growing near the community composting area. It looks like it’s doing well!
