I visited Auckland Art Gallery in the few hours before my flight home. There are a diverse range of exhibitions & works, including Brett Graham’s ‘Wastelands’, 2024 (www.aucklandartgallery.com/whats-on/exh...), which debuted at the 60th Venice Biennial. It’s a powerful & meaningful installation!

Some of the trees here in Aotearoa leave me in awe! I can see why they inspire people, stories, & movies, and more. Awesome in unique every one of them! 🌿👋🏽😀

Now this geranium growing in a church garden along a street in Auckland CBD is different to others I’ve seen in Australia. It’s nice, interesting, & is growing near the community composting area. It looks like it’s doing well!

If I was just looking out & up I could have easily missed these ferns growing on some of the trees in Kabi Kabi Country in the Twin Waters area of the Sunshine Coast! I look up, around, & down, & take it all in, and that includes the day. Have good one! 🌱👋🏽😀

As I drank tea, I watched a number of pigeons having a wash in a fountain this morning. One by one they gave each other space to bathe, examine their feathers & shake to dry off. They kept a watchful eye on me being close by too. They’re interesting to watch. ☕️🐦👀👋🏽😀
