Ok last week I wrapped the bonsai juniper in burlap as its first layer of protection, but I was worrying about the temperature still
So I I undid the burlap, put cheesecloth around it instead, filled a small box with soil and buried the bonsai pot in there for better insulation

Because I'm putting it in another container lined with wool, and then in the bog box, and even just watering moves the rocks
