What perfect album came out the year you turned 16?
(Because the image is flagged, it's the Red Hot Chili Pepper's album By the Way).

Proof of hair length.
(Also, my dad had a mullet way past the expiration date on them being cool and we kind of teased him into cutting it).

This is like on Superstore when they fired Myrtle because she was too old and replaced her with a hologram that she later met when she came into the store (from 2019).

Grading Annotated Bibliographies. A student is using a source that isn't great but... anyway, noticed that this website is generating its copy via ChatGPT because it's in their url. Good to know for the future, I guess.

If you see this, quote with a robot that isn't from Star Wars, Star Trek, Doctor Who or Transformers.

Rutger Hauer's physique in this is interesting. He's supposed to be a super-soldier, and his physique fits in the early 20th century noir aesthetic as a solid mass of muscle (ala Eugen Sandow) instead of the super chiseled and defined look we start to get later in 80s action films #HATM #BladeRunner

I know we're all trying to buy less stuff from Amazon, but the e-book version of one of the best books I've read recently is on sale for $1.99 on Amazon today. Holding It Together: How Women Became America's Safety Net by @jessicacalarco.bsky.social. www.amazon.com/dp/B0CH9HPJY...

George Miller did release a special edition where one of the special features is a cut of the film in black and white. Haven't watched it myself, so I can't say, but I thought that was an interesting move.

I’ve had a revelation about this book recently. It is weird, and chaotic, and funny, and heartbreaking, and deeply personal to the author. It is the perfect example of what we loose if we abdicate all of our writing to AI in the future. AI could never churn out something so beautiful.

My mom's comfort crock pot mac and cheese (if you don't mind Velveeta). Season as you want (we use garlic), and/or add meat (pork is good).

Easy chili: mix cans of diced tomatoes (plain or w/ green chilies), beans of choice both w/o draining, meat, prepackaged chili seasoning. Add broth as needed.

Baby’s first warehouse club membership yielded me this comically large (for two people) jar of oregano.

You've been kidnapped. The characters from the last TV show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who is coming to save you?

Here we go, uh oh oh...

Although, there is a good chance that it was a scheme cooked up by one of these characters, (like the time Burt got "kidnapped"), so I might be ok.

Fingers crossed! I could use a good year after the last few not so good ones.
