Welcome to SF LGBTQIA+ Pride weekend. Not quite sure how I wound up here alone this weekend. Partner out of town taking care of the recently widowed. We are polyamorous. However, none of the men I have been dating are available, for various reasons (both good and suspect). Crying on pride weekend 😢

You know when there's only like 15 pages left in a book or 5 minutes left in a movie and nothing's been resolved and you get that weird closure anxiety like "okay there's no way any of this is gonna be wrapped up in a way that makes any sense.” That's what everything feels like all the time now.

Today I am struggling with the fact I have to return to a country that would rather I not exist. I wish there was a LGBTQ friendly country that needs an experienced nurse to grant me permanent residency and a work visa.
